Learning for Life

2L

Term 2 was a very busy term indeed!  This term the students who were eight years old participated in the Athletics Carnival.  What a fun day we had!  We ran in lots of races, did shot put, long jump and some of us even tried high jump!

We have learnt about Workers in the Community this term.  We had a special day where we were visited by a nurse, builder, policemen, fire fighters and an ambulance officer.  We also got to dress up as our favourite community worker and have a parade!

We have had a great time conducting science experiments this term.  Our second favourite experiment was using balloons to conduct static energy, but our most favourite experiment was learning about wind energy where we made kites!  Have a look at us flying our fantastic kites!

In maths we found out who could hop the furthest distance.  We had fun trying to beat each other’s hop- lengths!

We are looking forward to working hard and having lots of fun in our BRAND NEW CLASSROOM in Term 3!  Check out our page again next term to see pictures of us in our awesome new room!
