Dance Groups 2009
There are two dance groups at Hambledon under the guidance of Miss Stanford, Mrs Waddups and Mrs McNaught. Groups have the opportunity to perform not only for parents within the school but also for others in the wider community.
Blacktown Music Festival
On 24th September our dance groups performed in the Blacktown Music Festival. Our Junior Dance Group was amazing in their dance to ‘Can’t Stop the Beat’, wearing bright, colourful costumes. They did not stop smiling throughout the entire performance.
Our Senior Dance Group was mesmerizing in a contemporary performance dancing to the choir singing ‘Snowgum’. They looked dazzling wearing white and silver costumes.
We are all extremely proud of them!
Schools Spectacular
The Senior Dance Group auditioned for Schools Spectacular and was selected from hundreds of schools across NSW to be a part of this magnificent showcase of talent. The concert takes place in November so our dancers will be busy between now and then rehearsing for the event.
