Debating

Hambledon has had a long association with debating having participated in debating competitions every year for the past 11 years.

We are currently involved in both the Blacktown District  and the NSW Premier’s Debating Competitions.

All Year 5 and 6 students are invited to audition for the debating team at the beginning of each year.  Successful students then meet for training during 1 or 2 break times each week until the competitions are completed.

 At the end of the year there is a student vs teacher debate which is always full of fun and showcases the talents of the Hambledon debaters.
