Multicultural Day

Our Multicultural Day was, once again, a great success! The Parade of Nations was enjoyed both by those who dressed up and those who watched. We had a few new countries this year to add to the 'old favourites'. The lovely little Kindergarten 'Swiss Miss' found the parade a bit overwhelming, despite looking absolutely wonderful and the boy representing Antartica was a crowd favourite!
After recess, the children rotated to other classroom, to share and participate in a range of activities, including learning some words in a different language, playing games, singing songs, listening to stories and doing craft.
The Multicultural Feast, held during lunch, is always a favourite with everyone. A huge thank you to the parents who go to so much effort. Your children's class mates truly appreciate it. Yum!!!
